Branding Agency

A journal of Australian brand strategy, identity and practice

Long-form essays for people who have to live with a brand after the launch deck.

Legal

Privacy

We collect as little as the work requires. This page is the record of what that means.

Branding Agency (https://brandingagency.com.au) is an Australian editorial publication. This notice explains how we handle personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, in plain language.

What we collect

If you use the contact form, we collect the name, email address, organisation, subject and message you submit. That payload is posted to /api/contact and delivered to support@worldwidebacklinks.com. We do not ask for payment details. We do not run an account system.

Server logs may include an IP address, user agent and the pages requested. That is ordinary hosting hygiene, not a profile of you.

What we do not do

Processors

Hosting and form delivery may be handled by our infrastructure providers, including Netlify and FormSubmit, acting on our instructions. They see what they need to deliver the page or the message. We do not authorise them to use your message for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

Correspondence is kept as long as the editorial or legal reason lasts — a pitch under consideration, a correction file, a complaint. When that reason ends, we delete it. Server logs follow the host's ordinary retention.

Access and complaints

You can ask what we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by writing to support@worldwidebacklinks.com or using the contact form. If you are not satisfied, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner handles privacy complaints.
